Today we came to Kuta- a beachside town in Bali. Not as secluded as Nusa Dua which has high end luxury resorts with their private beaches Kuta is a beach town with a lively night life and has hotels and accommodations of all shapes and sizes to cater to the myriad tourists from all over the world. The car ride from Ubud to Kuta was pleasant and uneventful. Our hotel is called Amnaya Resort, located at the centre of town. Pretty good location, nice room, with large restaurant, swimming pool etc. I missed Purana Resort, the cute little boutique hotel that we stayed in Ubud for the last three days. Boutique hotels give you a very personalised attention and you make friends with the front desk staff and get to know them a bit. in a day or two one starts feeling like home in such places.
